We, Asha and Ashok, have lived in the United States since 1970 and currently call Baldwin, Maryland our home. Our common interests are Indian Classical Music, Ghazals and reading. Asha loves Gujarati poetry and working on honing her already considerable cooking skills. Ashok, since retiring from UPS after 25 years, likes to work out and walk every day. He is working on translating his father's works into English. His published work includes translations of "Sant Devidas" and "Vevishaal".

Our daughter Bela, an Early Childhood Education specialist, is married to David, a wonderful young Graphic Designer, and lives in Montgomery Village, MD. The two have presented us with two grandsons, Ravi Benjamin and Tomar Nathan.

Sagar, our son, earned a Broadcast Journalism degree from Syracuse University in 1996. After working with WAJR-AM in Morgantown, WV, and WMAQ-AM in Chicago, Sagar now works for The Associated Press in Washington, DC.
